Does Dura-Lite’s Evolution Charge Air Cooler really have a 7 Year/ 1,000,000 Mile Warranty?

Yes. Dura-Lite’s warranty is not prorated and warrants the original vehicle installation for a period of 7 (seven) years or 1,000,000 (one million) miles or 1,609,000 (one million, six hundred and nine thousand) kilometers, whichever occurs first from the date of installation that it’s Evolution® Charge Air Coolers (the “CAC”) will remain within the allowable leak down rate specifications of the following applicable engine manufacturers under normal on-highway operating conditions: Caterpillar, Cummins, Detroit Diesel, International, Mack, Mercedes, Paccar, and Volvo (“Engine Manufacturers”).

Dura-Lite has maintained a less than 1% warranty return rate for over 30-years. All products are tested to be 100% leak-free before they leave the manufacturing facility.

Does Dura-Lite’s Evolution Charge Air Cooler Warranty cover Warranty Labor?

Yes. Warranty Labor on any Evolution® Charge Air Cooler installed after October 1, 2023, is covered!

• For Evolution CACs with a 7 Year Warranty, for the first 2 (two) years from the Installation Date, Dura-Lite will automatically pay $300.00 towards the replacement Labor for that Charge Air Cooler.
• For Evolution CACs with a 1 Year Warranty, Dura-Lite will automatically pay $300.00 towards the replacement Labor for that Charge Air Cooler during the 1 Year Warranty period from the Installation Date.
• For Evolution CACs with a 2 Year Warranty, Dura-Lite will automatically pay $300.00 towards the replacement Labor for that Charge Air Cooler during the 2 Year Warranty period from the Installation Date.
• If the Warranty replacement also fails within the first 2 (two) years from the original Evolution CAC Installation Date, Dura-Lite will pay the Labor a second time.
  
  
  • If the Warranty replacement fails after the first 2 (two) years from the original Evolution CAC Installation Date, no Labor will be paid on the replacement CAC.
  • For Evolution CACs with a 1 Year Warranty, the above applies but is limited to the 1 Year Warranty period.
• An Evolution Charge Air Cooler submitted for warranty, must be replaced by a Dura-Lite Evolution CAC as per Dura-Lite’s Warranty and Limitation of Liability Policy.
• This new program is only for Evolution Charge Air Coolers and does not extend to Dura-Lite Eliminator® Charge Air Coolers or any Dura-Lite Radiators.

Do all of Dura-Lite’s Charge Air Coolers have a 7 Year/ 1,000,000 Mile Warranty?

Most Dura-Lite Charge Air Coolers are backed by our industry-leading (non-prorated) 7 Year / 1,000,000 Mile Warranty. Certain Part numbers carry a limited warranty ranging from 1 (one) to 3 (three) years depending upon the design and application. Distributors/ Dealers can visit Dura-Lite’s website Product Catalog for the applicable warranty coverage on each Dura-Lite Charge Air Cooler. What is Dura-Lite’s Eliminator Charge Air Cooler Warranty?

Dura-Lite’s warranty is not prorated and warrants the original vehicle installation for a period of 1 (one) year from the date of installation (unlimited mileage). Eliminator® Charge Air Coolers (the “CAC”) will remain within the allowable leak down rate specifications of the following applicable engine manufacturers under normal operating conditions: Caterpillar, Cummins, Detroit Diesel, International, Mack, Mercedes, Paccar, and Volvo (“Engine Manufacturers”).

All products are tested to be 100% leak-free before they leave the manufacturing facility.

What is Dura-Lite’s Radiator Warranty?

Dura-Lite’s warranty is not prorated and warrants the original vehicle installation for a period of 1 (one) year from the date of installation (unlimited mileage) that its Radiators (the “Radiator”) will remain free from defects in material and workmanship under normal on-highway operating conditions. Certain Part #’s are warranted for 2 (two) years depending upon the design and application. Distributors/ Dealers can visit Dura-Lite’s website Catalog for the applicable warranty coverage on each Dura-Lite Radiator. What is Dura-Lite’s Tester-Kit Warranty?

Dura-Lite’s Tester-Kit™ is warranted against defects for a period of 1 (one) year from the date of purchase.

Is the warranty on a Dura-Lite Charge Air Cooler transferable?

Yes. Dura-Lite Charge Air Coolers are warranted on the original vehicle installation for the length of the warranty period.

I just purchased a vehicle that has a Dura-Lite Charge Air Cooler on it, is the warranty still valid?

Dura-Lite Charge Air Coolers are warranted on the original vehicle installation for the length of the warranty period.

Will the use of a Dura-Lite Charge Air Cooler void my Original Equipment engine warranty?

No. Dura-Lite Charge Air Coolers are designed to perform equal to or better than the Original Equipment Charge Air Cooler. Many Original Equipment Truck and Engine Manufacturers have selected Dura-Lite as their aftermarket supplier.

Complete and Mail or Fax the bottom portion of Product Registration (Warranty Card) that is attached to the new Dura-Lite product or register online on the Product Registration section of Dura-Lite’s website.

How can I determine if my Dura-Lite Charge Air Cooler is still under warranty?

Please contact Dura-Lite Customer Support at (800) 661-1117 with the Dura-Lite Part (Model) # and Serial # to have it checked.

How do you determine the Dura-Lite Part (Model) # and Serial #?

Open the hood or engine compartment of the vehicle and look for the Dura-Lite Part (Model) # and Serial # Label on the Charge Air Cooler. The Label is typically located on the top center of the Charge Air Cooler.
