3D CAD (Computer-Aided Design)
This technology is utilized to enhance the quality and performance of our products through the use of mechanical CAD, design validation, product data management, design communication, and other various CAD productivity tools.
CAD/CAM (Computer-Aided Design and Computer-Aided Manufacturing)
In order to ensure manufacturing processes are as efficient and as dimensionally accurate as possible, CAM tool interfaces drive the CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to manufacture high-quality parts.
FEA (Finite Element Analysis)
FEA software is used to test products in extreme simulated conditions – eliminating the need to wait years for results and allows weaknesses in a design to be updated before manufacturing and installation. The theoretical results can then be definitively confirmed with actual results in controlled thermal cycle testing. Once the FEA results have been analyzed, and the improvements are incorporated into the final designs, our manufacturing team can produce a prototype sample.
CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics)
CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) software is used to simulate airflow, fluid flow, and thermal conditions to predict the performance of the design. A theoretical analysis is performed on a virtual prototype, which allows for further improvements before the final design is completed and a charge air cooler or radiator is manufactured. Once the CFD results have been thoroughly analyzed, and the design is finalized, manufacturing can produce a physical prototype sample. The theoretical results can then be definitively confirmed with in-vehicle performance testing results.
3D Scanning, Parametric Scan to CAD Modelling, and Scan to CAD Inspection
3D Scanning, Parametric Scan to CAD Modelling, and Scan to CAD Inspection 3D Scanning equipment is used to measure the physical geometrical characteristics of the parts used in the manufacturing and assembly processes. The measurements allow the part and assembly to be compared against the design intent. Precisely recording the X, Y, and Z coordinates of a part enable points to be generated to construct part features when designing new components based on existing physical samples. Using this equipment ensures products are manufactured in accordance with the design specifications and confirm fit and function in any application.

I have used Dura-Lite on past trucks. I just installed an Evolution US-CUSDAC-281F CAC on my 379 Peterbilt with a high HP Caterpillar engine. The exhaust gas temperature was lowered compared to the stock CAC. Great fitment, easy install, and very well built product!
Dura-Lite’s unique design holds up against the punishment of the road so well that it’s warrantied for a million miles. That’s a no-brainer. Be sure to test often and always ask for a genuine Dura-Lite Charge Air Cooler.
Product appears to be of much better quality than the OEM cooler I removed.
The OEM coolers just do not last, and when ordering new trucks the option should be available to specify Dura-Lite.
Love the idea of warranty with that many miles, and this charge air cooler is not that much in price compared to other coolers.

I have been using Dura-Lite coolers for probably about 20 years. I have always been satisfied with the Dura-Lite product and I can’t ever remember having to make a warranty claim..
